Fede Dorcaz was an Argentine-Italian singer and former professional model born in Mar del Plata, Argentina. At age 13, he moved with his family to Palma de Mallorca, Spain, where he later began a modeling career at 18, working in Spain, Italy, and the United States for prominent fashion brands such as Giorgio Armani and Dolce & Gabbana. Transitioning from modeling to music, Dorcaz pursued a career in Latin pop, relocating to Los Angeles and later Mexico City to expand his artistic reach in Latin America. In 2023, he settled in Mexico City, gaining visibility through collaborations with Televisa, one of Mexico’s largest television networks. He was preparing to appear on the popular reality dance show *Las Estrellas Bailan en Hoy*. His music included tracks like "No Eres Tú" and "Cara Bonita," with his debut album *Instinto* released in 2024. Dorcaz achieved notable success in Mexico, with his songs charting on radio and streaming platforms, and he performed sold-out concerts across the country. He also appeared at major Latin music award shows such as Premios Lo Nuestro and Premios Juventud, gaining recognition as a rising Latin pop star. Dorcaz’s personal life attracted attention due to his relationship with Venezuelan singer and digital creator Mariana Ávila, whom he met in 2023. Tragically, on October 9, 2025, Dorcaz was murdered in Mexico City. Authorities are investigating the killing as a targeted attack, examining forensic evidence and surveillance footage, though no definitive motive has been established.
